Thousands of people answered our survey — and over 95% said what we already knew in our hearts: We must keep fighting.

If we give in now, it only emboldens Trump’s authoritarian agenda — and sends the message that shutting down the government is an acceptable way to force through his fascist policies.

We will not fund authoritarianism.

We will not support fascism.

We will not allow Republicans to keep stealing from working families while giving handouts to the wealthy few.

This shutdown is not just about budgets. It’s about what kind of country we want to live in — one where fear and deportations rule, or one where dignity, justice, and democracy are protected.
