I’m Jason Carter. I served as a Georgia state senator and I’m a proud grandson of President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter. They showed me that one of the greatest callings is to serve this state and its people.

It’s these values that I’ve carried with me in my own public service, and why I’m proud to endorse Jason Esteves to be our next governor.  He’s the strongest candidate to meet this moment and build the coalition Democrats need to win next year.

Jason has built his life around service to others. He has been a teacher, an attorney, a school board chair, and a state senator. Throughout his career, he’s worked to expand healthcare access, strengthen public education, and lower costs for seniors.

I believe Jason has the vision and the integrity to lead Georgia forward. He understands the everyday challenges facing Georgia families across our state, and he knows how to bring people together to solve them.

Georgia needs a governor who listens, who cares deeply about this state, and who is committed to building a better future. I know Jason Esteves will be that governor.
