Donald Trump just can’t stop attacking the people who keep us safe.
The U.S. intelligence community has long briefed presidents on threats to the nation and its people. But Donald Trump never listens -- and then when a crisis hits, he blames his officials.
Trump got two briefings on the coronavirus in January but took no action and then blamed the intelligence community for his failure. Now he’s doing the same with reports of Russian bounties on U.S. soldiers -- pretending like he knew nothing about it, even though his daily written briefing contained information on the issue as early as February.
It’s clear that Trump just doesn’t listen -- and that his ignorance of the facts puts more Americans at risk every day. Should a president who can’t be bothered to do his homework be rewarded with a second term? Tell us:
