The next step for the Family Zoning Plan is the hearing at the Land Use and Transportation Committee on October 20. It is important to show up in force to support the Family Zoning Plan at this hearing.

We would like you to do two things:

(2) Recruit your contacts by email, text, phone calls (yes, this is important enough to call them!) to show up as well. Here is a sample text message can use:

Hi there,

I am going to be at San Francisco City Hall on Monday Oct 20 to help push for one of the most important pro-housing policies in SF history! It would mean a lot if you could join me. This legislation is receiving heavy opposition from NIMBY’s, and is on the edge of failing unless enough people like us show up in support! Please consider coming!

Join friends and neighbors for an afternoon picnic in Duboce Park! Enjoy drinks and snacks, family-friendly arts and crafts ativities, a bounce house for kids, and help us build momentum for the Family Zoning Plan in advance of the next day's hearing.

Co-hosted by SF YIMBY, United Democratic Club, GrowSF, Abundant SF, San Francisco Firefighters, and the Housing Action Coalition. Please bring snacks or drinks to share. It's going to be a beautiful day, so don't forget to put on some sunscreen!

The San Francisco Democratic Party will be considering whether to endorse the Family Zoning Plan during its 10/22 meeting.

Having the San Francisco Democratic Party formally in support of the Family Zoning Plan would unlock their resources and reach to communicate with over 330,000 registered Democrats in the city.

Send a letter to urge the party to support the Family Zoning Plan.
