Reports last week from Tel Aviv suggested that after 20 years in prison, he might finally walk free as part of the hostage release deal. But at the last moment, those moral midgets at Netanyahu’s office struck his name from the list.
We all know why.
Without Marwan, there will only be more subjugation, more barbarity, more of the same nightmare Palestinians have endured since the Nakba.
The only way to break this vicious cycle is to release Barghouti and give Palestine its Mandela moment.
