My name is Brian Bengs. I’m a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, a JAG officer, and until recently, I wore the uniform of a Wind Cave National Park Ranger. I am running to represent South Dakota in the United States Senate as an Independent because I believe in the Cowboy Code of the West: tell the truth and take care of your neighbor.

The modern U.S. Senate is a country club. It’s full of career politicians like Mike Rounds, who answer only to corporate PACs and D.C. party bosses. They have no idea what it’s like to work the night shift, pay for feed, or worry about a government shutdown cutting off essential services.
