The Texas National Guard needs to come home – now.
I just published a new op-ed in the Houston Chronicle, alongside four of my colleagues in the Texas delegation, calling on Greg Abbott to stand up to Donald Trump and the chaos he’s created using our National Guard troops.
As we wrote in our piece, Abbott has abandoned his duty to serve Texans – and instead, is serving Trump’s illegal and unconstitutional orders.
He MUST recall the deployment and put an end to our service members being used as political props.
