Folks, new reporting from Politico shows how the Supreme Court’s MAGA majority could obliterate the Voting Rights Act and upend the 2026 midterms. Take a look:

The Voting Rights Act is one of the greatest achievements of the Civil Rights Movement, but now it’s hanging on by a thread.

Right now, the Supreme Court is considering striking down Section 2 of the VRA, the last major protection that prevents racial discrimination in voting.

If they follow through, states could freely gerrymander districts and pass laws that silence minority communities, with no way to fight back in court.

We’ve already seen this playbook. In 2013, the Court gutted Section 5. Since then, voter suppression has exploded. If Section 2 falls, the Voting Rights Act will be nothing more than a piece of paper.

We can’t let that happen.
