Even before becoming the extreme Republican yes-man he is today, our opponent Michael Whatley spent over ten years propping up the worst of climate change as a lobbyist for Big Oil. He even advocated for drilling off the coast of North Carolina — endangering the beautiful places we all love.

As Governor, Roy made North Carolina the epicenter of the clean energy economy. He added over 20,000 new, good-paying jobs and took steps to protect the environment our kids will inherit.
