The contest challenges middle and high school students to produce 60-second videos exploring how population growth affects people and the planet—and propose innovative, sustainable solutions.

During this event, Barbara Huth, Online Learning Manager, will share the most recent winning videos, providing us a look at how young people think critically and creatively about global challenges.

We’ll also hear from Carol Bliese, Senior Director of Teacher Programs, who will offer a brief overview of how our Population Education (PopEd) program supports educators with professional development workshops, ready-to-use lesson plans, and classroom activities—including one inspired by last year’s contest themes.
