Friend, the people of Florida deserve a say in how our state handles commonsense gun safety legislation. In 2020 they could get their chance, but Attorney General Ashley Moody is blocking efforts to place an assault weapons ban on the ballot.

This isn’t about partisan games, this is about the safety of our communities. We are sick and tired of the cycle of gun violence in this country. The people of Florida want to do something about it, and they could have their chance in 2020, but Attorney General Moody doesn’t want their voices to be heard.
