The state House just voted on critical gun violence prevention legislation, and the results are enraging:
❌ We were one vote short of banning plastic, undetectable firearms.
❌ We were one vote short of passing a bill that would have enacted lifesaving, evidence-backed Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs), also known as a “red flag” law.
❌ We were one vote short of banning the kind of unregulated machine-gun conversion devices that killed Brackenridge, PA Police Chief Justin McIntire.
Friend, critical gun safety bills failed by a single vote — three times.
We were one vote short of preventing suicides, mass shootings, and the purposeless early deaths of kids, teens, and adults across the Commonwealth. We can't ever let that happen again.
