Trump and Texas started it — now it’s our time to finish it.

Across the country, Republicans have rigged congressional maps to keep themselves in power, silencing the voices of working families and communities of color. But in California, we have a chance to fight back.

Proposition 50 is our opportunity to stop GOP gerrymandering and ensure every voter’s voice counts equally. I’m proud to stand with grassroots organizers, local clubs, and Democrats across California who are fighting to protect our democracy.

I want to send a clear message to the GOP that Americans are done letting Republicans rewrite the rules for their own power.
