We talked about everything from Medicaid cuts to Affordable Care Act subsidies.

John,

Recently, I joined two incredible Wisconsin women for powerful conversations about what's really at stake for working families, and I want to share a little about what we discussed.

On Motherhood for Good with Kate Duffy, we talked about the GOP Medicaid cuts and not just who loses coverage, but also who picks up the pieces.

Motherhood for Good

Every time Republicans talk about "reforming" or "streamlining" Medicaid in their so-called Big Beautiful Bill, what they really mean is more hassle to get coverage.

And we all know who ends up dealing with that mountain of logistics — the same women already carrying the mental load for their families. Moms filling out forms at midnight. Daughters managing prescriptions between shifts. Caregivers navigating a system designed to wear them down.

When these Medicaid cuts take effect in 2027, it won't be billionaires feeling the impact. It'll be Wisconsin families — the ones doing everything right and still getting left behind.

Then, on Money Talks with Coral D. Pleas, we dove into how those same Republican policies are driving up health care costs.

Money Talks

Instead of working to protect affordable coverage, Republicans let key Affordable Care Act subsidies expire, and now, Wisconsin insurers are proposing rate hikes from 6.6% all the way up to 34.5% next year.

That's unacceptable. Health care shouldn't be a luxury, it's a right.

We need leaders who will actually lead — not play partisan games while families pay the price. I'm running for Lieutenant Governor because Wisconsin deserves better: affordable health care, strong communities, and leadership that doesn't back down when people need help the most.

But I can't do it without you.

We're building a people-powered campaign to fight back against these attacks — and every single dollar helps us keep the truth front and center.

Can you pitch in today to help us fight for Wisconsin families?
