John xxxxxx,
I spent more than 30 years running into burning buildings and battling wildfires across California. I’ve seen how one spark can turn into catastrophe, with homes reduced to ash and families standing in disbelief as everything they’ve built vanishes in minutes.
Climate change isn’t a theory to me. It’s something I’ve seen with my own eyes. Every year, wildfires burn hotter, faster, and longer. They destroy homes, threaten lives, and release millions of tons of carbon that make the next fire even worse. |
And what is Congress doing? Too little. Too late. We can’t keep pretending this is normal. Part of why I’m running is to bring a firefighter’s urgency and problem-solving mindset to Congress, because when people are in danger, denial and delay aren’t options. We need:
👨🚒 Real investment in wildfire prevention and mitigation 🚒 Bold action to cut carbon emissions and expand clean energy
🧯 Resources for first responders and resilient communities This isn’t about politics. It’s about protecting our homes, our air, our water, and our kids’ future.
If you’re ready to send someone to Congress who’s spent his life fighting on the front lines of this crisis, I need your help today. |
No more excuses. No more denial. It’s time for action.
In service,
Joe Joe Kerr Candidate for Congress, CA-40 |
