POV Activation: Learning Beyond the Walls – On the Frontlines of the Future

This fall, students return to classrooms—but learning extends far beyond textbooks. Join POV for a LIVE conversation with filmmakers Samuel Habib, Dan Habib (The Ride Ahead), and Kelly Anderson (Emergent City), moderated by Ana Portnoy.

From youth-led movements for justice to communities reclaiming their rights, these films spotlight resistance, creativity, and the power to reimagine what’s possible. Hear directly from the filmmakers and special guest Elizabeth Yeampierre, climate justice leader and Executive Director of UPROSE, about how learning and leadership emerge outside the classroom.
