Dear Friend:

I am not new to this fight, and I am not new to this city. I will leverage the power of this Delegate seat to fight for our federal workers, to rebuild our federal workforce, and bring jobs home. I will use this seat to fight for our families and invest in schools, housing, and healthcare. I will use this seat to fight for real public safety—not trumped-up political theatre. 

And yes, I will use it to fight for statehood by bringing coalitions of people and lawmakers together to give us our seat at the table of American power, where we have always belonged. 

As a fifth-generation Washingtonian, I know the promise of this great city needs to belong to everyone—not just those with great wealth who spend time on the lawn at Mar-a-Lago. 

We need a proven fighter whose lived experience represents the experience of DC and who voters in DC can trust to represent their hometown values. We need a proven fighter who has always sided with working people, not the powerful. And we need a proven fighter who has the experience on Capitol Hill to be respected and effective on Day 1.
