it’s overwhelmingly clear that we can’t depend on the federal government to help us meet our basic needs.
What a month, team,
We are only three months into Monica’s re-election campaign for County Supervisor, and it’s all-hands-on-deck here to keep up with the changes coming out of Trump’s White House.
Between service cuts to the most vulnerable San Diegans; shady, scary masked federal agents on our streets; and a government shutdown, it’s overwhelmingly clear that we can’t depend on the federal government to help us meet our basic needs.
But as our Supervisor, Monica is fighting hard on the Board every single day for the support we deserve and the protections our communities need. It’s our turn to fight for her.
With self-serving politicians creating chaos across the country, she is exactly the type of leader we need right now.
While Trump and his cronies defunded efforts to root out public corruption, Monica fought for accountability and justice in our County's jails and behavioral health systems.
While Trump celebrated a government shutdown, Monica got to work,
planning to fill the funding gap left by MAGA and make sure our
communities were not left high and dry.
That is the difference between a dedicated public servant and a narcissist who’s in power to serve themselves – Monica delivers real results for the people.
Born and raised in San Diego, Monica Montgomery Steppe is an HBCU graduate and an attorney by trade. Monica believes in her heart that the neighborhoods and community members are vibrant and worthy of care and investment. She is running for re-election to the Board of Supervisors, District Four.
