Aboard the Sea Eagle, our crew has spent months tracking down illegal traps and lines hidden along the seafloor. These devices are meant to catch octopus but destroy everything in their path. So far, they’ve removed more than 34,000 traps, freed over 1,500 octopuses, and cleared nearly 300 kilometers of line from fragile coastal habitats.
Each trap removed is one less silent killer beneath the waves. And as our crew prepares to head back out, your support keeps them fueled and ready for the next sweep.
