For so long, this issue has been underreported. Now that people are speaking out, we’re finally getting coverage from local publications.
WAFF, a CBS affiliate in Alabama, is pointing out that Senator Tommy Tuberville is among the top congressional stock traders among Republicans currently serving in Congress.
In fact, Sen. Tuberville trades more than any other Senator, and trails only a few members of the house, with more than 1,300 stock trades since his swearing-in just four years ago. This includes stocks in the defense industry, even while serving on the Armed Services Committee — doubling down on conflicts of interest.

The good news: this reporting was inspired by the resurgence in bipartisan support for a bill to end congressional stock trading once and for all!
Once the government shutdown is over, we’ll reactivate our pressure campaign to pass this bill. In the meantime, we’ve announced our first-ever slate of candidates to take on the most notorious stock traders in Congress. Together, we’re showing traders like Tuberville that we won’t stand for this corruption,
