Dear John,
Artificial intelligence is rewriting the rules — transforming how we learn, work, communicate, and govern. The question is no longer if AI will shape our future, but how we’ll shape it in return.
Today, Future Caucus is proud to announce the full-membership of our brand new National Task Force on State AI Policy , a bipartisan team of Gen Z and millennial legislators leading the charge toward responsible, future-oriented AI governance.

Co-chaired by Representative Monique Priestley (D-VT) and Representative Doug Fiefia (R-UT), this cross-partisan team of twelve lawmakers from across the country will confront one of the most urgent policy challenges of our time: how to harness the potential of AI while protecting the public it serves.
The task force will convene experts, hold public hearings, and publish a Bipartisan State AI Policy Memo to guide responsible AI governance at the state level — helping lawmakers navigate complex issues like algorithmic bias, privacy, automation, and innovation.
Ahead of the task force's launch, Pluribus News spoke with Co-Chairs Rep. Priestley and Rep. Fiefia to discuss the task force’s goals, the stakes for young leaders, and how states can lead responsibly on AI.

In a moment defined by uncertainty and division, this effort represents something rare: a generation of leaders working across party lines to shape the future responsibly — before it shapes us.
Onwards,
Future Caucus
