I know what it’s like to step up and face a challenge.



I lost my Dad at age four and then cared for my Mum for three years before she died while I was still at school.



Our party, our country and our planet are facing huge challenges - and I’ve learnt it’s how you come back from adversity that matters.



Our campaign is NOT about winning for ourselves. It’s about winning for the millions of people who are relying on us to stand up for them, when Boris Johnson won’t.



I’ve been fighting the Tories all my life - and winning.



I fought the Tories in 1997 and won. I fought the Tories in Government and won, more than trebling renewable energy. And I fought back in 2017 and won again.
