As our economy begins to open back up, many parents, but especially women, are left without child care or support, preventing them from going back to work.
Not only will our economy feel the impact of mothers being unable to work, but the progress women have made towards equality in the workplace will also be at risk.
Childcare providers are either still closed or operating at far lower capacity in order to follow safety and distancing guidelines.
Our leaders in Washington can invest money in childcare programs to take action on this issue, and today, we're checking in with you on what you think Congress should do next:
