This is what it means to be a Michigander

I love what I do and who I do it for

Hi team,

Do you remember your first car? I sure do. Mine was a used Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and it meant the world to me.

Growing up in a working-class family in Michigan, I saw firsthand how much pride people took in what they built. My parents ran a small landscaping business, and they worked their butts off – early mornings, late nights, snowstorms, humid summer days. They did whatever it took, not because they were getting rich, but because they’re Michiganders. That’s what we do.

I always knew I wanted to spend my life fighting for the working families and communities I love here in my home state. It’s what drove me to help lead President Obama’s Auto Rescue Task Force during the Great Recession. It was important, tough work. There were late nights, high stakes, and some tough moments. But we got it done: I’m proud we helped save more than 200,000 auto jobs in Michigan.

I didn’t do it to get a pat on the back or my name in the paper – I did it for the people I grew up with, for the Michigan families I knew were trying to put food on the table and provide a decent life for their kids.

I’ve taken that same calling to fight for working families in Congress. I fought to bring manufacturing back to Michigan and expand opportunities in advanced technology. I played a leading role in passing legislation to grow our economy and rebuild our infrastructure. I’m taking on Donald Trump’s reckless tariff policy, writing legislation to stop his tariffs on groceries and lower costs. And when Donald Trump tried to use the military to silence peaceful protestors? I introduced the Stop Trump’s Abuse of Power Act to rein him in.

Now, I’m running for U.S. Senate because I believe Michigan deserves a senator who shows up, listens, and then fights like hell to get things done for regular people, not someone who bows down to Donald Trump and the MAGA megadonors trying to flip Michigan red.

Look, running for Senate isn’t a vanity project for me. I don’t care about fame or playing politics or photo ops – I care about Michiganders. I’ve never been a person who sits back when there’s work to be done. And right now, there’s a whole heck of a lot of work to do.

Costs are skyrocketing, and Trump’s tariffs are threatening to raise prices on Michigan-made vehicles. He literally said he “couldn’t care less” if auto prices go up.

Well, I couldn’t care more.

Because the people feeling the pain of Donald Trump’s reckless tariffs are Michiganders.

That’s who I’m fighting for.

If you believe in that – in hard work, in honesty, and in standing up for working families – I’d be honored to have your support in my battleground Senate race.

A personal note from Haley 👋

I’m a lifelong Michigander and the daughter of small-business owners. I’ve spent my career fighting for Michigan’s working families – and now I’m running for the U.S. Senate to keep standing up for the people I love.

But here’s the truth: Senate control could come down to Michigan. And Trump and his megadonors know it. That’s why they’re gearing up to spend tens of millions to defeat me and hand this seat to a MAGA Republican.

I need your help to fight back. This race will be one of the most competitive – and expensive – in the country, and I’m counting on grassroots support to win.

If you’re with me, will you chip in $5 today?
