Friend, my name is Shruti and I'm the Vice President for Conservation on Sierra Club's Board of Directors.

I'm planning to attend a No Kings event near me on October 18, will you join me? [link removed]

As the Trump Administration continues to attack our democracy, marginalized groups, and our basic human rights, we are not going to stop fighting back.

There are now almost 2,500 events planned nationwide -- hundreds more than the last No Kings mobilization in June. Our numbers are growing. Our resistance is growing. Our power is growing.

The ability to protest is an essential part of a healthy democracy. As Trump escalates his assault on our cities and his political opponents, we must defend our right to take to the streets and push back. That's why, once again, we're turning out to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has no kings! We are partnering with other organizations as part of a broader movement, to fight back for protecting our environment and basic human rights.

Register today to be a part of this people-powered grassroots movement because it will take all of us to make a difference. We are stronger together: [link removed]

In June, millions of Americans peacefully took to the streets and declared America has no kings.

Since then, Trump and his authoritarian allies have increased attacks on our democracy and communities. That's why we're joining what might be the largest mass mobilization in our nation's recent history to once again say "No Kings."

Will I see you there? Sign up to attend one of over 2,200 nationwide No Kings events today --->>> [link removed]

No Kings is a peaceful national day of action in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration.

In the last year, Trump has taken unprecedented moves to gut healthcare, environmental protections, and education when our families need them the most. He's using OUR tax dollars to pay for HIS power grabs. We struggle to pay our bills, access transportation, put food on the table, and recover from disasters, while he hands out massive giveaways to his billionaire allies who got him elected.

The administration's overreach disregard for the rule of law places all Americans at risk, making it more challenging to fight for our environment and future. We need a functioning democracy to secure protections for the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the climate on which we rely.

Enough is enough. The goal of Trump and his allies is to overwhelm us, so we fall into despair and don't fight back. But right now is the moment for courage. It's the moment for us to show up for one another and demand change, together.

There are already significantly more events being hosted than there were in June. We know that when enough of us fight back, we can build the power we need to stop Trump's destructive agenda.

Will we see you on October 18? Sign up to attend a No Kings event in your state here.

We hope you'll join us to show the world what democracy really looks like.
