We're proudly partnering with the Penobscot Nation in Maine to restore nearly 30,000 acres -- one of the largest land returns between a U.S. nonprofit and a Tribal nation.

This year, we've seen attempts to erase history from our national parks: signs and photos removed, visitors encouraged to report "negative" historical content, and cuts to staff that threaten the National Park Service's ability to carry out its mission.

The NPS is collecting feedback -- call on them to research, preserve, and share all aspects of our history, and to fund this work so these stories can be told.
