Across the country, ICE is escalating raids, targeting families with zero regard for human dignity. They claim “enforcement,” but what they’re really doing is sowing fear.
 
In Kansas City, we reject that. No family should live under threat just because of where they were born or how much money they make. Our city is safer when everyone belongs.
 
That’s why I will always stand with legal aid groups, local immigrant rights organizations, and oversight at our borders—to defend families instead of dividing them.
