Josh Clark Announces Run for Georgia State House

For Immediate Release: October 15, 2025


BUFORD, GA — Former State Representative Josh Clark today announced his candidacy for Georgia State House District 100, seeking a return to the Georgia General Assembly. The district includes much of his former district in North Gwinnett, along with parts of South Hall and East Forsyth counties. In addition to his prior legislative service, Clark is a local business owner and former corporate executive with a proven track record of standing up for conservative principles and boldly advocating for faith, family, and freedom.

“I am excited to announce my run for State House,” Josh Clark said. “With so much at stake for our state and feeling a call to return to public service, my wife, Chelsey, and I have been praying about where I should engage in the fight to preserve our freedom and liberty. With this House seat opening up it provides a unique opportunity for me to step back up and serve our community.”

“President Reagan once said, ‘Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction… we must fight for it.’ This fight is most critical at the local and state level. The reality is that Georgia is at a tipping point. For the past decade, we’ve been slowly losing our conservative majority in both chambers. In order to reverse this decline and save our great state, we must elect winsome public servants who will lead with bold conservative colors, not timid pastels.”

Clark continued: “Our children’s future rests in our hands. We must make the hard choices to rein in spending and special interests while fighting for legislation that supports and revives strong, healthy families across our district.”

“I look forward to being interviewed for the job as I go out and engage with my neighbors living in Gwinnett, Hall, and Forsyth counties,” Clark concluded. “I will hold fast to the foundational principles of faith, family, and freedom that built this country. With the support of my neighbors and friends, I look forward to serving as your next State Representative for the 100th District. I promise to cast a vision and craft policies that help keep our Northeast Georgia community—and our beloved state of Georgia—strong, free, and safe.”

Josh looks forward to giving back to the community where he grew up. He knows this community well, having represented it for two terms before leaving unopposed 12 years ago. Josh has coached volleyball, football, cross country, and basketball. He has also volunteered in many capacities including serving on the foundation board at Lanier High School. Over the past two decades, his family has actively served both at Sugar Hill Church and, in recent years, at Christ Place Church, where Josh serves in the high school ministry. He also owns businesses in the district, including a nutritional distribution company with his wife, Chelsey, and Clark-It Realty, a full-service real estate brokerage that he runs with his daughter Moriah.
