John,
As you know, my husband Richard Lamondin is running for Congress to unseat Congresswoman Maria Salazar.
Together, we are building this campaign the same way we’ve always done our work: from the ground up and centered around community. We believe real change starts in the neighborhoods where we live, work, and walk every day, and those are the same neighborhoods Richard will represent when elected.
That’s why Richard decided to qualify for the ballot by petition. Not to avoid a fee, but to prove that a campaign powered by people can make an impact. Every signature we collect is a small act of democracy and it says "we’re here, we care, and our voices matter."
We need to collect 5,000 petitions by March 1st of next year. That won’t be easy, so we need your help.
I am hosting my first campaign day of action for Richard this Saturday, October 18th at the No Kings Protest from 10AM to 1PM.
We'll be meeting at the Torch of Friendship (301 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132) to collect petitions and connect with neighbors, and I would love if you would join me.
