Here’s when to expect your bill in the mail:


OCTOBER 30, 2025: Statements for most accounts begin arriving in mailboxes and electronically for those who signed up for paperless billing.

DECEMBER 8, 2025: Statements for accounts with ceiling amounts begin arriving in mailboxes. This includes accounts with the Over 65, Disability, and Disabled Veteran exemptions.

With the passing of Senate Bill 792, as of January 1, 2022, Texans with Disabled Veteran (DV) plates wanting to use disabled parking spaces must apply for a disabled parking placard or for new Disabled Veteran license plates with the ISA* if the veteran meets the eligibility requirements for an ISA*.


A person with a temporary disability who qualifies for the temporary placard (red) is not eligible for Disabled Person or Disabled Veteran ISA* license plates.


A person with Disabled Veteran ISA* license plates may obtain up to two permanent (blue) disabled parking placards:

  • Limit two (2) placards for Disabled Veterans with no DV ISA license plates.

  • Limit two (2) placards for Disabled Veterans with two sets of DV ISA license plates
