Dear Friend,
Five years ago, a mob tore down the Christopher Columbus statue that had stood outside our State Capitol for generations. It wasn’t just a statue; it was a tribute to the spirit of discovery and the contributions of Italian-American families who helped build our state and our nation.
Since that day, Governor Tim Walz has done nothing to restore it. No accountability. No plan. Just silence.
That’s why, on Columbus Day, I joined my colleagues in Congress to demand answers from Governor Walz. We asked a simple question: Will Minnesota ever restore the Columbus statue, or will we allow mob rule to rewrite our history?
History matters. Law and order matter. And the people of Minnesota deserve leaders who will protect all of them.
I’m proud to stand up for our shared heritage, for the rule of law, and for the countless Minnesotans who still believe in respecting our state, our monuments, and our story.
But I can’t do it alone. The radical left and their allies in St. Paul would rather erase our past than learn from it — and they’ll keep pushing unless we stop them.
Will you chip in today to help me fight back and keep Minnesota’s values strong?
