First and foremost, I want to say this: Thank you for bearing with us over the last few days. I know my team and I have been reaching out… well… just a little more often than usual in an off year. I promise, I don’t want this frequency to become the norm so far out from the next election.

But to be completely truthful, we’re not sending these emails because it’s fun, or because we just love clogging up your inbox.

We’re sending them because they’re necessary.

Like it or not, Republicans are raising money right now. A LOT of money.

And even though so many of us are hurting right now, we can’t tie one hand behind our backs in the next election. We have to meet every attack that comes our way with an effective response — and yes, that requires resources.

So even though you probably find the arrival of this fundraising email less than thrilling, I have to ask: Can you chip in just a few dollars before our midnight fundraising deadline to help us prepare for the challenging, expensive fights ahead?
