We are at a turning point for our nation and our democracy. Donald Trump and his MAGA allies are trying to take us backward — undermining our institutions, spreading hate, and putting weapons of war on our streets to increase political violence. Meanwhile, families in Massachusetts are being left behind as costs rise and opportunities shrink.
Trump isn’t the only one moving quickly. From artificial intelligence to climate change to a world in conflict, we need leaders who understand that this moment in our history calls for more than a press release and a cable news appearance. We need a new generation of leaders with the courage to act boldly and the vision to lead us forward. Senator Markey has been in Congress for longer than I’ve been alive. He’s a nice man, but going along to get along isn’t real leadership.
I’ve spent my life answering the call to serve: in the Marines for our country, and in Congress delivering for veterans, investing in infrastructure, protecting reproductive rights, and fighting for working families. Now it’s time to bring that same dedication to servant leadership to the Senate.
