Hi friend,

I’ve spent my career standing up to hapless Trump officials and clueless
CEOs. I stood up to the Big Banks and helped deliver billions to keep
Californians in their homes.

Now, I’m running for Governor.

We are in a moment when Donald Trump is literally shaking the foundations
of our democracy and wrecking our economy. You can be sure as hell that I
am not going to let him get away with hurting our state.

It’s no secret that I’m tough, and I’ve got high expectations for the
people running our government, our economy, and myself. We all should.
Californians can expect me to be just as strong and tough when I’m looking
out for their interests.

I just talked to Nikki Laurenzo about the past week and moments that I
could’ve handled things better. The bottom line? I’ll be the fighter that
