Hi John, it's Adelita Grijalva. I want to thank the Progressive
Change Campaign Committee for giving me the chance to reach out to you
directly.

Last month, voters overwhelmingly rejected the MAGA agenda and chose me to
represent them in Congress in Arizona’s 7th District special election.
With so much at stake, I came to Washington ready to get to work.

But instead of swearing me in, Speaker Mike Johnson cancelled session and
sent members home — not only delaying my ability to take office, but also
allowing the government to shut down without even letting the House work
toward a solution.

That’s how far Republicans are willing to go to block me from serving.
Republicans know that once I’m sworn in, it won’t just chip away at their
razor-thin majority — I will become the decisive 218th signature to force
a vote on releasing the Epstein files.
