John,
When I was elected to serve as your governor last fall, I made a promise to put you first -- to fight for education, equality, and opportunity for all. Since then, my administration has been focused on how we can improve the lives of everyday Kansans.
Here's what we've accomplished so far:
- We increased funding for our schools, the first step toward setting our children up to succeed in and out of the classroom.
- We expanded protections for LGBTQ+ workers to ensure that no one is discriminated against based on who they love or how they identify.
- We hired 42 more social workers to help lower caseloads and ensure every child in our foster care system is cared for.
I'm proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but our work is only beginning.
Together, we're going to keep fighting to balance our state's budget, expand Medicaid, and ensure everyone who calls Kansas home feels safe and accepted. But I can't do it alone.
Will you stand with me today? Chip in $5 or more to help us hit our mid-month fundraising goal so we can continue to rebuild our state.
