Pay-to-Play: Exposing Corruption in the Trump Administration

The president is offering political favor from his administration — for a price. This pay-to-play relationship is a defining feature of how President Donald Trump’s second administration is operating by embracing unprecedented levels of unabashed political corruption.

Campaign Legal Center published a new resource analyzing the most egregious examples of pay-to-play corruption where wealthy individuals, companies, special interest groups and foreign governments contribute to President Trump’s political and financial interests and receive generous official favors in return.

Moreover, we’re calling for policy and legal solutions that will restore accountability and prevent any future president from auctioning off power and betraying the public trust. We need solutions now that guarantee our government will always serve the public — not the highest bidder.
