Open enrollment season is here. You know what that means.
Endless forms, higher premiums, and way too many “choices” that somehow
all feel bad.
Folks spend hours trying to figure out what’s covered, who’s in-network,
and whether they can afford their prescriptions this year.
The entire process is frustrating and confusing, but it doesn’t have to be
this way.
Right now, insurance companies have a significant impact on our healthcare
system. They jack up premiums, limit coverage, and make record profits
while working people are left holding the bill.
That’s not healthcare. That’s corporate greed.
Staying healthy shouldn’t depend on what’s in your wallet. It should be
guaranteed.
That’s why I wrote the book on Medicare for All and why I’m running to
make it a reality. Medicare for All provides holistic healthcare without
all the paperwork and bureaucracy.
Of course, that means insurance companies — the same ones with deep
pockets and powerful lobbyists — will spend big to keep someone like me
out of the Senate.
