John,
Politico just uncovered 2,900 pages of racist, antisemitic, and homophobic messages exchanged by top leaders in the Young Republicans, including many here in New York.
They joked about gas chambers. They glorified Hitler and the Nazis. They used racial slurs over and over again.
And here’s the worst part: these extremists weren’t operating on the fringes of the New York Republican Party. They were endorsed and celebrated by people like Anthony D’Esposito and Elise Stefanik— one of the most powerful Republicans in Congress and likely candidate for governor in New York.
This is the direction today’s GOP is heading: more hate, more division, and more dangerous extremism.
New Yorkers deserve better. We deserve leaders who reject hate, not enable it.
If you agree, I need you to stand with me today. Chip in whatever you can to help us defeat this brand of extremism and defend decency, dignity, and democracy.

Thank you for standing up to hate,
Laura
