My mid-month fundraising deadline is tonight at midnight, so let’s stop sugar-coating it. The Trump Administration is a threat to democracy, to decency, and to basic human rights. 

They send troops into cities to intimidate protesters. They weaponize the Department of Justice against political enemies. They call facts “fake news” and corruption “law and order.”

I became District Attorney because I believe the law should protect people — not punish them for daring to speak out. I’ve stood up to bad cops, crooked politicians, and billionaire interests. And I’m not about to start bowing down to an authoritarian wannabe with a Truth Social account.
