Hey there, I know my team reached out this morning, but I wanted to follow up personally.

You know, one of the reasons we’re working so hard to hit our goal before tonight’s huge fundraising deadline?

It’s because the last thing I want — for you, for me, or for any of our thousands of grassroots supporters — is to wake up the day after the election wishing we’d done just a little bit more.

I know this isn’t a pleasant exercise, but I need everyone on this team to picture what it would feel like on Nov. 5 if we lose by just a few hundred votes — knowing that if we had pushed just a little bit harder these last few weeks, we could have avoided a devastating loss at the hands of Donald Trump and Jack Ciattarelli.

This race is neck-and-neck, and we have three weeks left to avoid that future, but it’s going to take everything we’ve got. If you’re all in on this fight to win this race and keep New Jersey blue, then I am humbly asking you to pitch in any amount before tonight’s deadline — because it could truly be the difference between a game-changing victory and a miserable defeat.
