The commissioner of insurance has issued an order determining that an area along the north shore of Clear Lake in Harris County is an underserved area for property owners association (POA) insurance. The order requires the Texas FAIR Plan Association to begin accepting applications for POA insurance from eligible applicants within the underserved area.
