Right now, as we watch cities like Chicago and Portland under siege from their own president, and as the government shutdown drags on into its third week due to Republicans’ refusal to lower healthcare costs:
- Republican Senators need to see that we have the power to send them packing if they don’t stand up to Donald Trump and pass a budget that stops costs from skyrocketing,
- Democratic Senators need to see our power as we demand they hold the line on healthcare funding, and
- The Trump Administration needs to see that we will not sit by and watch as ICE and the National Guard invade our cities and drag families out of their homes.
Because when we stick together in our shared goal of creating an affordable country where everyone has the freedom, safety, and opportunity to succeed, we know we can win. And we will win.
