The federal government is shut down, and hundreds of thousands of workers are furloughed or forced to work without pay. These threats are only deepening the crisis that federal workers have faced for months. But with your help, we can meet this moment.

Earlier this year, We The Action, the AFL-CIO and a coalition of labor and democracy partners launched Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Defense Network to connect federal workers who have been fired with free legal support. If you're interested in participating in at least two Thursday consultation clinics per month (held from 3–6 PM ET on Zoom) to support the growing number of federal workers in need, join us for an informational call on Thursday, October 16 at 12 PM ET.

You can also join us for our next training on Thursday, November 6 at 3 PM ET to help nonprofits prepare for allegations of non-compliance:

1–5 hours Training: Protecting Nonprofit Organizations (Virtual) We The Action Learn how to help our nonprofit partners understand emerging threats, assess and reduce their risks, and prepare to respond if an attack does occur.
