When I accepted the role of Executive Director earlier this year, I didn’t see it as just a job. I saw it as a mission — one that all of us share:

* A mission to elect more Lillian Exum Clements, our namesake, across North Carolina.

* A mission to protect — and expand — our reproductive freedom from anti-choice extremists.

* A mission to defend democracy, ensure every ballot is counted, and create a more equal North Carolina.
