Friend, We're in the second week of the Republican shutdown. And I've been asking the same question every single day. Where are House Republicans? Democrats are fighting to protect healthcare and fund the government, but our colleagues across the aisle are nowhere to be found. While House Republicans are refusing to do their job, federal workers are being furloughed from theirs. They're taking a two-week-long vacation, while Americans are being forced to cancel their own vacations because of air traffic controller shortages. Republicans control the White House, Senate, and House. They're responsible for this shutdown, and now they need to get back to work. Ted |
