Kansas Republicans are meeting with Donald Trump right now at the White House. I don’t know exactly what Trump’s saying… but believe me, I have a pretty good idea of his demands:

• Silence Kansas voters and rig KS–03’s next election before it even happens.


• Draw a gerrymander so extreme, Republicans are guaranteed to win every seat.


• Replace me with someone who doesn’t understand the first thing about our district — giving Republican party bosses in DC even more control over our lives.

I’ve always been clear: Kansans — not party bosses or politicians — should decide who represents them. If you agree, and you’re ready to fight until the very end to defend our democracy, I hope you’ll stand beside me by chipping in a grassroots donation to support our team in the critical days ahead.

To be completely honest, the next 24 hours could make or break our entire campaign.

Very soon, we’ll start to hear rumors of exactly what happened today inside the White House — namely, if Kansas Republicans sense any political risk with caving to Trump’s demands. If just a handful of these politicians feel uneasy, it’ll be enough to end this scheme for good.
