Let me tell you why this fight is personal for me.
I’m the proud dad of a son born through IVF. But now, some in Washington are threatening reproductive freedom, even trying to ban IVF and criminalize families like mine for how we chose to bring our child into the world.
They’re also attacking unions, workers, and the basic dignity of a fair day’s pay. As a career firefighter and longtime labor leader, I’ve spent my life fighting for working families, and in Congress, that’s exactly what I’ll keep doing.
Here’s what I’m fighting for:
✅ Protecting reproductive freedom and IVF access so every family can decide their own future.
✅ Raising wages and strengthening unions to rebuild the middle class.
✅ Taking on corporate greed and price gouging so families can afford healthcare, groceries, and housing.
✅ Defending democracy and restoring integrity to public service because government should work for people, not the powerful.
That’s what leadership looks like, and it’s what CA-40 deserves. But I can’t do it alone.
