The Alliance is under attack, and it’s up to us to save it. 

On October 1, DC closed the doors to the DC Healthcare Alliance, reduced healthcare coverage for 25,000 DC residents, and kicked over 2,800 people off their insurance.  The Alliance provides DC residents with lifesaving and affordable care. The Council already passed a round of cuts to the Alliance in the FY26 budget that were proposed by Mayor Bowser. The future of the program is even worse, with a full elimination of the program in the coming years.We can change the trajectory of the Alliance - the DC Council must reverse the cuts and restore the Alliance

Come rally to save the Alliance! On Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Building rally and meet with DC Councilmembers to demand the restoration of Alliance.  We will provide Spanish interpretation and snacks and coffee.

La Alianza está bajo ataque, y de nosotros depende salvarla.

El 1 de octubre, DC cerró las puertas a la Alianza de Atención Médica de DC, redujo la cobertura médica para 25,000 residentes de DC y expulsó a más de 2,800 personas de su seguro. La Alianza brinda a los residentes de DC atención médica que salva vidas y es asequible. El Concejo ya aprobó una ronda de recortes a la Alianza en el presupuesto del año fiscal 2026, propuestos por la alcaldesa Bowser. El futuro del programa es aún peor, con su eliminación total en los próximos años. Podemos cambiar el rumbo de la Alianza– el Concejo de DC debe revertir los recortes y restaurar la Alianza.

¡Venga a manifestarse para salvar la Alianza! El miércoles 22 de octubre de 2025, de 10:00 AM a 1:00 PM, en el Edificio Wilson, participe en la manifestación y reúnase con los concejales de DC para exigir la restauración de la Alianza. Proveeremos interpretación al español, refrigerios y café.
