Judge Andrew S. Oldham of the Fifth Circuit will deliver the 18th Joseph Story Distinguished Lecture titled, "Precedent as a Scatterplot.” The lecture's namesake, the eminent jurist Joseph Story, was the youngest Associate Justice ever to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court and became known for his philosophy of judicial restraint.
